Based in Logan, QLD, Blue Gum Cottage was founded by a mum-and-dad educator duo and special needs parents who saw a gap in programs for children just like their own—neurodivergent, beautifully unique, and dancing to the beat of their own drum. Approved by Busy Butterflies as their provider, Bluegum cottage provides OSHC care, school holiday care, casual bookings and overnight care.
They envisioned a space where young people could explore, connect, and grow—on their own terms, in their own time, and in their own way.

School Holiday Sessions
Neurodivergent friendly: Your young person will thrive in a calm, supportive setting designed for children who need something gentler than mainstream School Holiday Programs. Lower ratios. Inclusive spaces.
Overnight Care
Servicing several families in the area, bluegum cottage is a safe, highly regulated place for children to stay overnight whilst their grown ups work, attend an even, or simply have a night off!
Casual sessions:
Take advantage of our wonderful space when you require it, your child will have hours of entertainment whilst you go about your business.
Messy Play & Sensory Time *Coming soon!*
Enjoy our purpose-built sensory yard with mud kitchens, water play, and sensory tubs—encouraging creativity and regulation through hands-on fun.
Casual homeschool care
A small, consistent group focused on community, creativity, and gentle learning—perfect for neurodivergent homeschoolers.
